and of course I screwed up and choose the SD card for the VM storage - rebuilding again this time picking my RAID 10 for the VM storage. - it's almost done.

lol at least it only took 5 mins to kick off the reinstall and about 10 for it fully finish.

@Dashrender Been there done that!

I'm going to have to jump on the Bandwagon now and get it on my spare server
-
OK XenCenter installed and pushing the SP1 to XS now.
Next will be updating XenCenter locally.
-
Boy this update is taking a while and seems to be providing nearly zero feedback. of course this is 'nix so I'm sure no feedback is the norm.

Ok that took nearly 10 mins, but I do finally have some feedback inside XC that shows progress on the upgrade.
And I just heard the server fans spin up, I have to assume it's rebooting.

OK built an on system ISO store - that was a bit of a pain in the ass.
used WinSCP to copy my Win2K12R2 ISO to the XS server.
Install Win2K12R2 now.

Used these instructions to create the ISO Store.

http://www.riverlite.co.uk/blog/xenserver-creating-a-local-iso-library/XO makes it easy. You can just create one with their interface.

I suppose you could install the XO VM using a URL to pull the ISO for installation.
