We currently have a Barracuda Spam and Firewall so no matter what, that would stay on site and licensed.
For those generic e-mail addresses, how are you using them? Are they proxy addresses, distribution groups or actual mailboxes?
@scottalanmiller As someone that will be migrating soon, are you saying that the av/spam filtering is included in o365 or you have a 3rd party providing services for these?
@Dashrender I am planning on migrating to office365 or another hosted exchange service from Exchange 2010 too.
In terms of the gateway feature, is it Linux connector + bridged mode?

Interesting that their site, at least a couple weeks ago said something to the effect of it being considered.

How many devices do you want to run on ZT?
Based on what I have tried out with ZT, this would work but I am not sure how well DNS works with ZT. If someone has more experience with that aspect I would love to know.
@Dashrender No, the vCenter server with update manager runs on one of those hosts.

@Dashrender Since I use the update manager, I am using a Windows server. Once they offer the update manager for the appliance (or create an appliance just for it), I will dump the Windows version.
They have made good strides in terms of increasing the robustness and capabilities of the appliance. Also, the Windows version now uses the vPostgres database for the internal option (used to be SQL server express) but the update manager still uses SQL server express for the internal option.
@Dashrender vCenter server has always run on Windows. They introduced a virtual appliance (non-windows) in version 5 (I believe), known as vCenter Server Appliance but if you want to run VUM, you need a Windows server for that, so I decided to keep using the Windows version.
I use PRTG for all network monitoring/logging and they have tons of customization options for dashboard views.
