OK I've updated my post with a few tags.
Can the two posts be merged if they are related?
Split, yes. Merged, no.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for however, we use LIfe360 for our cell phones. It is an app that is basically a lo-jack for my kids. I know where they are, if they're driving, how fast they are driving, etc.

I feel like this should have been announced or mentioned somewhere on the update before hitting install. I generally read the update description from WU before installing them.
"This will break Remote Desktop client, update your servers first"We have a user here that does clinic work outside of his job here. The clinic says the issue is on our end (because we applied the update). I told them their servers were out of date. Somehow I'm the asshole.

RE: MFP/Printers - what brand do you like?posted in IT Discussion
We have Sharp units here. We have a managed print services contract with a local place and with the amount of printing we do the repair guy is out every two weeks just to make sure everything is in working order. But the people who use them don't have any issues with them. We had a Kyocera and a Canon before and they seemed to break down for no reason.

Am I the only one to still not see the Early release option?

Took the day and went fishing. Caught 4 Northern pike, none of keeper size. Got home and made a pepper jack/Roast beef grilled cheese sandwich.
Once you have caught a few keepers, I'll PM you my address so you can send me some fresh pike!
Keepers here need to be 26" or larger. Everything I caught today was 22-24".

Double check FSMO? I've had to manually override the Global Catalog before.

This one must have been a major release. The Windows Upgrade tool was also upgraded to include this update. I just did 10 machines and it took about 2.5 hours.

Windows Server GUIposted in IT Discussion
How many of you still use the GUI when running windows servers? I'm getting ready to upgrade a few of our 2008 R2 servers to 2016 (a little late I know) and just thought it was funny to see the "Windows Desktop Experience" on the install.

Zerotier Upgrade to 1.2.4posted in IT Discussion
Anyone had any issues upgrading from 1.1.14 or 1.2.2 to 1.2.4? I just tried upgrading a machine that was offline for a long time from 1.2.2 to 1.2.4 and it said it was already installed but when I looked in Add/remove programs it still showed 1.2.2.
Do I need to uninstall 1.2.2 and then install 1.2.4?

@kelly Not really an EAP like in the past. It is now a setting in the admin console. I enabled it yesterday and am using the new interface on both work and personal accounts.
Is there a tier that you have to be at in order to see it? Or should it be listed no matter what?
It is not listed on mine yet, but those are the instructions.
So I'm not going crazy then. Well, at least not about this

Am I missing something? I didn't get a prompt to see the new UI.
Click on the settings gear in the upper right, and then select try the new Gmail or somesuch.
Got it. Not available yet for gmail for business.
