@Nic Seen it. I've been told it's one of the hardest games out there. No real beginning of game walkthrough and just crazy hard. Never played personally. Only watched.

@dashrender Wasn't saying you were. Just in general. I know I was the first time I ever entered a CLI password in Linux. I was wondering if my keyboard was working and all that. LOL
As far as things go, awesome! Keep going!

@Dashrender Yea, for security they do that. Its got its pros and cons. I like it but agree that not being able to see the character stars for at least a character count as they are being typed does make it a little harder. Those used to pure Windows environments always get freaked out by this the first time.

@Dashrender At Spiceworld 2013, didn't need caffeine. I had pure adrenaline fueling me.

To change the root password, btw, if you want to, command is sudo passwd. If you want to enter full root mode, enter su and it will prompt you for the root password. Then you have full root privileges for every command. Just be careful doing this as a wrong variable or an extra character where it doesn't belong and your system can get hosed.

@Dashrender They are separate entries. Elastix is the same way. MySQL root is different than the regular root. You can use the same password but they're separate accounts.

@Hubtech I did wake up. Decided to forgo the caffeine @minion-queen. I'm doing well and now at day 20 and going strong!

@Dominica Agreed. She wants everything while giving nothing. Her parents were not exactly using her for slave labor. They were being good parents and helping her learn life skills to provide her the ability to care for herself one day. The worst part of this whole thing is that her friend's father is funding it. Why do I feel like there is a sugar daddy situation going on there?

@DenisKelley Try editing your post with a new link. That one didn't go through.

RE: WebDAV for Calendar Sharing in Outlookposted in IT Discussion
@Dashrender This is a good point too. Is there a refresh interval of some sort that needs to be set or lowered?

RE: How Fast is Your DNS Provider?posted in IT Discussion
@NetworkNerd I worded that poorly. I mean the DNS hosting for a websites records and not the actual site hosting.

RE: WebDAV for Calendar Sharing in Outlookposted in IT Discussion
@Hubtech I haven't really used WebDAV but things that generally come to mind:
Check permissions on the calendar and that user two has permissions from user one to view/modify/whatever.
Check connection. Doubtful but eh.
Check settings for calendar. Those are the big three that come to mind off-hand.

I've heard of Splunk but are too busy to look it up now. Refresh me if you could.

@networknerd that's pretty sweet. So you're talking for web hosting and not just general DNS, correct?
