IDK, I thought the same thing as well, but I didn't not want to provide a potentially useful answer.

When the objective or goal itself is useless, any answer you feel is useful would then default to useless anyways.
So, the only potentially useful answer would be to get the OP to re-evaluate the situation and perhaps approach it differently altogether.

My response is to get more detail from @CCWTech as to the reason the client wants this. I don't know why the client wants to do this as it's not explained anywhere in this topic.

Sorry, I've been crazy busy. He doesn't want to have to reinstall programs. I think the F12 boot option may work the best. As long as the hardware isn't too different and it will actually boot.

One step closer to actually virtualizing some stuff here. Boss will be ordering a few new drives, then I'll be blasting out 2 identical hosts for a "proof of concept" setup. Hopefully, I'll be able to spin up VMs of existing test and dev servers without users realizing that it has happened. Lots of P2V work coming soon.

I do stuff with family on the 24th/25th, eating, gifts, etc., then xmas day evening begins "friendsmas", where the whole crew gathers at my neighbor's house for heavy boozing and usually a bonfire. There is always great food and loud music, and it's the best way to decompress after the family stuff.

Sashimi is the raw fish. Sushi is the rice, prepared with a mix if sugar and vinegar, which is often served with raw fish.

Yeah, sashimi is just sliced fish. Sushi is the little rice logs w fish on top (or rolls). But as long as it tastes good....
