Because they have been welcoming home users and other tech-tarded individuals for quite some time. "For IT pros" means diddly-squat over there, anyone with a computer and an email address to sign up is considered an "IT pro" on SW.

Wow, how much do I despise Cisco gear..... we had an ASA something here, paid a ton of $$$$$$$$$$ to "activate" it (subscription fee BS), then discovered that after many hours of attempted configuration, it wouldn't do something we totally needed it to do.... so we have a brick worth thousands of dollars (pay the shipping and it's yours, get this POS out of my building). I'd love to see Cisco crash and burn permanently, never to return. Even if "nobody ever got fired for buying Cisco", I sincerely hope that the ones who bought it got the severe beatings they deserve.

TL;DR - Cisco can suck every kind of *** that exists. My condolences to you for having one.

I just verbally beat up the meraki/cisco sales rep that tried to get me to renew the contract on the free AP I got from them. Laid out all the reasons that their yearly renewals suck, then admonished him for spelling my name wrong in the email, saying I'd never give him a penny because of the misspelling. Promptly got a response, still trying to sell me stuff.... I unleashed hell on him. Damn, it feels good to be a gangster.

So one of devs found thousands of failed login attempts on a test server... Turns out the boss, while at a customer site, had VPN troubles so he made a firewall rule opening port 1433 to the outside. SMDH.
