Nice to see a supplier on here
Hopefully should look after the members accordingly.
Vendors are slowly trickling in as they learn about the place.
I asked Priscilla if she was aware, but she said you already got to her lol.

RE: Chopping off their own feet....
My alt account isn't for trolling I promise I'm just angry with spiceworks, and people know me as RAM so started using my alt account so I can stay somewhat hidden.

Vergina beer 'ey? Something about that seems a little fishy...

RE: Chopping off their own feet....
@JaredBusch I'm floating around under a different name and account right now trying to help without using my spice level as a tool to prove how knowledgeable I am. Which I'm finding is quite an odd struggle, people see RAM. as Habenero and they ask me questions, acknowledge my knowledge, and don't always question me. Now I'm poblano and it's hard to even get recognized at all.
One more point to not being a fan of the ranking system there.

RE: Anyone using more than 2 monitors
My dad has four in one office, and three in another office.... yeah he has two offices... in the same building...

RE: Newbies, love 'em or hate 'em they are the next gen...
If you're in an ER touching a screen with bloodied hands, I'd like to know it was going to be safer than a lenovo all in one with a sunk in bezel :-P.

@Minion-Queen I've done 2 red apples, 1 green, and 2 carrots thus far. I tried throwing in spinich but it failed because I didn't throw it in with other stuff

Newbies, love 'em or hate 'em they are the next gen...
I just thought I'd post a small grudge I have with newbies in the IT field. Most of them are like we used to be, geeky people who love computers and we thought we knew better than everyone else. First sign of failure and we freaked, no matter how many text books or college courses we took, the failure isn't relevant to our pre-written scenario's. We've all been through that struggle, we've all learned from our own mistakes and carried on. We took the punches on the jaw, and carried on our ways to either get better, or give up.
But why? Why are we so arrogant in our ways at our younger age? (yes I'm still technically a newbie I'd say, but I listen). When someone makes an effort to tell you what will and will not work, why shoot it down and tell them they are wrong? I feel its become a curse of the online community, as well as a blessing in some cases. The newest of the new seem to post simply for a ego stroke, as long as you agree with them, if you don't they refuse to listen.... why? Its aggravating, and personally I have always been willing to listen to alternate opinions and view points simply to grow my own.
Is this a growing issue in the IT community? Or has it always been going on?
(Context; a guy asked for a all in one touch screen desktop for an emergency room and keeps saying Dell all in ones will do for under $1K, he won't accept me saying medical grade is required, and he said tablets wouldn't work and has been somewhat of a jerk about it. Maybe I'm just stroking my ego here, but... an ER requires a medical grade computer, not an off the rack Dell Precision...)

@Minion-Queen I've done 2 red apples, 1 green (granny smith), and 2 carrots thus far. Its fine no problem. I tried throwing spinach in by itself and it failed.... didn't realize I had to throw it in with other stuff lol.

@IRJ how much can you lift Joel? Due to medical problems I can't exactly curl so I do use the machines. Currently doing 3 reps of 15 or 20 with a weight of 50 or 70 depending on the day. It usually hurts once you get to you're 30th press lol.
On the top 2 pictures, I was about 330lbs. I could bench about 360lbs which is pretty poor bench to weight ratio. I was born with a missing pectoral muscle on the right side of my chest. All my strength comes from my arms and shoulders. I was military pressing 310lbs on my shoulders at one point.
Oh I'm not benching yet... nor do I know if I will... when the doctor says "your bones will break if you lift too much, we just don't know where that line is" kind of makes me go "well... wtf do I do?

@JaredBusch Wow Jared that's amazing dude, furthermore I really like that robe lol. But that's awesome dude.
I guess its just every time I get done working out, I feel awesome. My body is in tune, my sweat is well spent, I feel amazing. When I "eat healthier", I don't feel rewarded, sure may lose a few pounds that way but... I don't feel like I could kiss Obama on the cheek and challenge him to a sprint down FedEx field like I do with a nice workout.

If you can get to the point of running 3 miles a day, it doesn't really matter what you eat; you'll lose weight.
Yesterday I walk / ran 2.5 miles on the treadmill, and during my regular working hours paced across the office enough times to equal 2 miles... its lovely when people on both sides of the building need help at once.

RE: Working out, no diet.
@JaredBusch I'm looking into relocating to a more affordable state with much safer neighborhoods, my current regiment is go to the gym randomly during the week at random times due to schedules and such. I'm hoping that if I get to one of the few cities I'm looking into I'd have a much better place to jog in the morning, and a much more flexible schedule. Leaving home at 6am, and getting home at 5:30pm, doesn't afford much room for exercise during the week.

RE: Working out, no diet.
@Minion-Queen oh I bought a juicer about a month or two ago and its amazing, I just don't honestly eat that much during the day, I usually have like a cereal bar and a handful of chips for breakfast, and skip lunch, and my fiancee cooks enough food for 4 people so I get my lunch and dinner in all at once; she wants to cook less, but swears she doesn't know how too :-P. I could swap my random breakfast with a mason jar of apple juice with carrots in it...
