Ransomware tweets every time someone pays the ransom
Interesting idea to encourage people to pay up, when they see the tweets about everyone else who has:

RE: Reddit Formatting
The one good thing about reddit is they never change their UI. So once you learn it and get used to it, you'll never have to relearn it again.

RE: Webroot threat researchers are doing an AMA in the sysadmin subreddit today at 12:30pm MST
Yeah we enjoyed the response - certainly better than the previous one which was 7 months after a big layoff and got a lot of disgruntled ex-employees trolling it
Thanks for all your help AJ!

RE: What IT Needs
Yeah, you wouldn't need bonding for in-house IT. But I still think licensing is needed to keep people who don't know what they are doing out of the profession. Even your hair dresser is licensed.

Any prizes for a feedback?
I downloaded the PDF, and wanted to continue to next steps, tried subscribing to youtube, but had multiple accounts logged in, has to cancel the page, same with twitter, couldnt complete, but the form says i completed all of them and earned points!
Sorry about that - it's a third party game app so we don't have any direct control over it.

RE: Is it just me or to a lot of companies/Vendors not do what they are suppose to.
Short term thinking. Social media is a boon for customers though. Other avenues are reviews, filing reports with the BBB (I know they are bogus, but companies take their rating seriously) and turboing (finding an exec's info and contacting them).

RE: What IT Needs
I think a few more expensive lawsuits over lost consumer data might sway businesses. If nothing else, having a licensed IT person working there who adheres to security standards will protect them from being sued successfully.

RE: Swag
Portable batteries to charge my phone. Shirts are only ok if they are really good and clever.
