bottom line is practice. Having to do phone support for a year on QuickBooks really improved my soft skills. There's also lots of avenues for training, but nothing beats just getting out there and talking to people.

Thanks for catching the MDT/MST thing - I just copied and pasted without my copyeditor hat on. It was one of my pet peeves at Spiceworks when people got that wrong, so I used to send out an email to all reminding them every time daylight savings changed.
