Sure does, just select or "select all" and choose "restore".
Of course, in this example it works fine because you have "1 folder and 2 files"
But after a year or so, we have this, so the option "select all" is pointless:
We also noticed that some users still have access to group folders, after we removed those users from those groups which is weird. We did not found time to analyze and check/report a bug about it. But now I don't feel cofident in NC after these few issues.
Dropbox also shows large deletions as one "event" that you can undo which is also a nice feature.

I was discussing the restore to point in time that was specifically asked about.
What was mentioned was "select all and recover" which is literally exactly what it has. I didn't see anything about a point in time and definitely didn't respond to one. Check the thing that I quoted.
NC has option of "select all" but that option has no value for us, after we use it about a year!!!
Who needs option to restore all deleted files in entire history of usage?
We needed to restore hundreds of files deleted on that day, not entire history of deleted files - that would be a mess

Dropbox has it (we still use Dropbox partly).
For us it is common problem that users mistakenly move entire folder. It happens to us few times a year maybe.

Issue was with Windows client app. It was not in a VM.

But we need desktop OSes for using apps, not for using UI elements.

My comment is for desktop apps, not for web apps (so I don't know what do you disagree about).
Web apps are great trend that is good for Linux.
I installed Linux desktop for many friends to use at home.
But for small buinesses, it' s not yet best desktop solution in many cases (unfortunately).

Linux have many different distros and developers have trouble in maintaining their apps for them (different dependencies...).
That's why Flatpak and Snap appeared in recent years to try to decrease problem for developers.

Does anyone here offers support for Nextcloud or some kind of managed Nextcloud servers?
(yesterday we solved this problem manually so I am asking for future, not for this problem specifically)

We had issue with Windows client not working on Intel UHD620 GPU. Bug was reported in 11/2018 on Github, and was marked as "Closed" with comment "this is clearly something deep in Qt or the drivers, nothing much we can do about it. Closing it at last." after 2 years

It's a free product with paid support available that you are not using. Keep your demands and expectations in check. You'll experience less stress.
"Basic" paid official support would cost us more then Dropbox, and it still would not solve this problem with missing feature.
I don't think that being FOSS is excuse for missing this feature.

While you can assign all cores to every virtual machine, it is a horrible idea. The virtual machines will be doing next to nothing but waiting on each other to finish background processes.

After reading this articles, I cannot find proof that we have problem with 1:1 virtualization, and giving all physical cores to VM.
Second article is talking about serious overprovisioning (>2vCPU per pCPU) with lots of VMs on single host, and it is not our case.
We have 4vCPU VM on 4-core host, and we do not have issues with CPU speed even on multi-core CPU stress tests.
@siringo 1. What does your other VM (non-RDS) do, and what OS it uses?
2. What app uses largest part of your CPU load on RDS VM?
I would avoid having 2 RDS VMs in your case, I would rather move other VM to this "server sitting idle", and give full resources to RDS VM on main (8-core) server.
We recenly switched from Dropbox to Nextcloud (ca. 30 users).
Some user today accidentally deleted many files and folders (from group folders in Nextcloud).
We see deleted files/folders in "Deleted files" sections, but we can only select individual files/folders, or select all files for restoration.
We want to retore files deleted today (or today, after time hh:mm)
Question: Is there a way to simply restore many files at once in Nextcloud (but not entire history of deleted files)?
Dropbox have tool to "Rollback" to certain point in time, but I don't see similar option in Nextcloud.
So far we can only select individual files/folders, but it will take a lot of time.
@siringo Besides decreasing number of vCPU, I would check does your other (non-RDS) VM needs that much RAM. If you can decrease RAM for second VM, and give fixed amount of RAM to each VM, your RDS VM could significantly decrease swap usage which is probably bottleneck.
SSD would be nice
