@Dashrender They stopped making server hardware awhile ago. I'm talking about the software. Modern OSX Server runs on a mac mini.

Curious to know if anyone is running OSX server?

I want to know how it's changed/improved since OSX Server (Leopard). Haven't worked on it since I left my last Mac shop job in 2012. We had an X Serve in the rack back then, which was nice for the Macs in that environment. Able to keep Mac and Windows storage separate that way.

Different kind of problem. I'm talking about having multiple tasks in front of you at once. Too many displays to overwhelming to me, regardless of what I'm doing.

Whilst having a conversation with my friend about excessive computer displays, it occurred to me - how much multitasking is too much?

Yes, you can look at 4 projects at once with 4 displays, but there comes a point that I'll call "terminal productivity". This is the point at which your personal productivity bandwidth is saturated and you can neither take on more tasks or complete anything competently.

At what point is it overwhelming to have too many things going on in front of you at once?

@Bill-Kindle Can't wait for 3D printing to grow into full-scale food replicators, a la Star Trek.

I already had my major holiday for the year. It will be quite some time before I do another official "vacation".

I have one taker in May.

This part of FL is awesome because pretty much all the hot-spots ('excuse the pun) are a day trip away, with the exception of the Keys.
ALL the major theme parks are within a 90 minute drive.

My current home project is "The Fire Pit".

I bought a free-standing fire pit and before I use it, I have some modifications. I have painted the inside with heat-resistant paint. (up to 2000F)
I will line the bottom with heavy-duty foil and then 3" of sand before putting in wood. Considering a layer of lava rocks on top of the sand, though.
It has a grill top, so I can also cook with this thing as well - which is handy, because I don't have a grill. I found some grill sticks with glow in the dark handles that will be fun.

I have some concrete paves to put under it. Still unsure where the best place to put this thing will be. I want it in the back of the house for privacy. The folks who lived here before me had their fire pit out front, but since there is a raccoon that likes to visit, I think I'd rather avoid a confrontation with my dog.

@JaredBusch That's what I think, too - it's kind of a phishing thing at this point and isn't connected to my current email. I feel bad that my friends are getting spammed and think its me.
