Sangoma Linux and mondo archive

I am having a tough time getting backups to function. I get 3 ISO files burn them to dvd and attempt restore. The restore process seems to run but no data is written to the system. I am not sure if I need to change something with the mount list or what. I am pretty new to the Linux world. Any help would be great.
