1Password is something I've been considering too. The $70 one time version not the subscription

I was too, mostly because if last pass is hack. Kee pass you have the file. I use keepass at work, but it has no ads in it..

    • RE: T-Mobile Service in Canada

T-Mobile has no coverage anywhere around here, and the one area you can get it it's just EDGE. Every other carrier is LTE around here. T-Mobile is also a "non-standard" GSM because the bands they use aren't in many phones so you have to get a special model to use them.

    • RE: Major AT&T outage?

The issue is apparently registration related. if you have service you have it, but if you reboot your modem, phone or move towers with a cell phone it will no longer register to the servers and is failing. We're at about 4-5 hrs of this now.

Looks like outages began around 5pm EST and is happening to other carriers as well. I was told by our Datacenter Backbone rep (hurriance electric) that they believe there may be an on going cyber attack nation wide..

Seems to be even more wide spread. Cell, Telephone, Internet and TV services are all having major outages across the country..

Maybe related to the webex issues myself and many others were having today...?

      Very unlikely.. AT&T isn't a backbone carrier

Ring is Wifi, and alerts you on your phone with an app on motion and also does cloud recording for $9/year. Not marketing just a different type device.

      Ring is also outdoor

Filing a small claims court case usually works too. And typically cost $20-$50 depending on location

I would just set the general RDS policy to log off disconnected sessions after XX seconds.

That's what we do.. Even idle sessions we disconnect.

Don't think that's going to work. That applies to the local console, not the RDP session.

@Jason So that guy saw your post here?

Yeah, sadly they can't post here. Godaddy employees apparently aren't allowed too.

But at least they can read posts here to see when they get called out. Glad they sorted it for you...

Yeah, that's really impressive both that they saw it here and that they took action on it.

Seems like many companies now realize the negative PR shitshow that can ensue on public forums. It's basically the only leverage we have against them at this point.

I mean even, TeamViewer realizes that... okay, they don't.

That's a crappy policy. Having no voice for customer service is problematic.

Not that unusual of a policy though. Stupid but not unheard of.

Someone from Godaddy saw this and got it fixed. It's now turned off.

I believe TV is privately held. I know LMI is owned by MS though.

LMI isn't owned by Microsoft. LMI does own LastPass and Xmarks now though.
