I've had experience with CDW (average customer service experience) and Insight (average experience for me, terrible for @scottalanmiller) for Windows Server, Windows 10, SQL server, and MSDN licensing.
What other VARs have you folk used for your Microsoft licensing needs? Has your general experience with said VAR been positive or negative?

Good. Near the end of my previous job, I was issued a MacBook Pro, and that touch bar was underwhelming at best as far as usefulness.
I suggest those Macbook models made by System76 ;).
Jokes aside, like any other computer purchase, assess the technical needs. That'll guide you to which models make sense.

Its not permanent just snip the cable

Just snipping the cable seems easy until you make a mistake and slice the cable. When I have to do cable management, I'm 100% on the velcro strip train. Nylon cable ties have always ended up being a pain for me.

I agree for “just need to see” consider Jitsi. For one-off requiring a bit of control consider Zoho Assist.

That's the reason why I'm at the job I'm at now -- there was a potential opportunity to be touching Linux systems. Unfortunately, I was put on the Windows administration team. However, it granted me a non-trivial pay increase and work-from-home for the time being, which makes it easier to keep looking for the Linux admin opportunity elsewhere.

Funny thing about that is my Sister Branch in Davenport IA supports all Arby's no matter the franchise. . . and I'm already certified to work on the POS system they use at all locations (regardless of Franchise).

Office 365? That's an annoying day because I'm logged into it in so many places, and Microsoft hasn't figured out how to let you login once per device yet.
