Time to head home and play with a new toy.

In the early days of Teamviewer, it seemed like it was really 'reliable' for setting to start up after reboot and being able to reconnect. Any time I try to set this now results in failure after failure and
code regenerationpassword - What's the use if restart after reboot if the code changes? I mean - how does that help me when I'm five hundred miles away from the computer? While I have moved to using NoMachine internally - there isn't any reason it can't be configured to do the same function am I correct? You will still need 'client / server' computers and the proper port forwarding in your router.
I ask to assist a club member who is about to spend two months in Florida, for something easy enough for him to work with.

Sounds like you're wanting a persistent remote connection to the target machine. MeshCentral gets the job done for me.
Finally getting around to reading about Zabbix. Yum
That's the inherent problem with post deletion and editing. It's tough to follow the story after the fact. If I were modking, I'd lock the thread and move on. If needed, make a statement at the end about [insert obvious falsehood] to protect readers from misinformation.

Last day at current gig.
Moving on to greener pastures?
Possibly. At best, I'll get some actual job experience with Linux administration. At worse, I'll be doing a similar job as to what I currently have, but be paid more and have better benefits.
Just sent an enrollment agreement for signature to what will be my first saxophone student since the pandemic began.
Insignificant to the greater goings-on of the world, but a small victory for me

About to give a little presentation on how to get started with scripting for the weekly Fedora Infrastructure IRC chat meeting.

Trying to hire a new guy today, too.
And I signed an offer for new gig today.
Sounds flashier than it is. Recording some videos about $things is something I've wanted to dabble in for a while, so there's no time like the present.
Most of the content will be music or IT related. To date, there's one about my take on the IT Generalist, and one about an aspect of software purchasing. The next will be about music. I'll dive a bit into what music theory is.
Hope you folks will enjoy the posts.

Figured out how to remove the entries as well.
export PATH=/export PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/root/binDamn that's easy.
The more I learn, the more I realize that doing $TASKS in a Linux environment usually results in "Damn, that's easy."
