@dbeato The option doesnt exist. Nobody in the world can use Office 365 web client to manually run an inbox rule they create in Office 365.

But there have never been that option in the Local Exchange... no even on Exchange 2010 through OWA.

I'm sure that's his point. With this push to move away from apps (i.e. Outlook) why isn't this feature in OWA or O365 Webmail?

Is there a push to move away from Office apps? By Microsoft or otherwise?

Last time I used Outlook 2016 I felt weird about it, like it was just slowing me down. However I am sure I dont feel that way about Excel Online.

@wirestyle22 are you using, can you vouch?

Would be nervous to login with my kids steam credentials to try, trying to work out in me head how this would be setup.

I have used it and am in direct contact with one of the devs if you guys have questions. Any of the normal games I play felt fantastic (r6 siege, street fighter 5, battlerite, divinity original sin 2). They use an algorithm for keyboard and mouse latency that is apparently fantastic. With that said there are issues with some games I've heard of but have not experienced. Doom was one of them, which I haven't played.

You can create a new steam account as they have locally installed demos you can play if you're nervous. One of my good friends works for the company, although he's not the dev I know.

I agree with @scottalanmiller. Low cost Linux desktops are where it will really shine

As @scottalanmiller said being able to access from Linux or a cheap computer with No GPU would make sense.

I don’t think support anything other than what RDP supports, however I’m curious as to how they developed the client. Is there an SDK for RDP 10?

Also, it says $20/month is that unlimited hours? That doesn’t seem expensive at all to me, but maybe I’m reading it wrong....

I havent used Plex since 2009 or 2010, it has come a long way by the looks of it. But it does suck you have to subscribe to the mobile apps.

Is it a $4.99 activation plus a monthly service?

To use the mobile app it is a subscription or a one time in app purchase.

I will likely do the lifetime subscription thing and also buy some hardware to setup Plex to record my OTA TV service also.

What can you do with this in terms of purchasing new music. I am not entirely up on this since I have been using a subscription for so long. And Youtube Red has spoiled me with just removing the ads.

I am guessing iTunes doesnt have DRM on music anymore. Would you purchase and dowload/upload into Plex?

Plex is actually looking pretty nice...

We have google music family (which gives you tube red for family) but previously had thousands and thousands of iTunes purchases.

Anymore it’s rare I find a song that isn’t on play, and I sync my playlists offline in iOS. If I Shazam something on the road (rare these days) I add to playlist and let it download immediately.

So basically I now use music.google.com for everything.

Have used plesk and did a lot of ripping in the 2000’s for music and video, but with the kids I finally switched to google.

I have to admit I never thought I would find myself doing this and like everything else these days we are hopelessly at the mercy of our cloud overlords.

I use Prime Music mostly to play random playlists and the odd specific song I want to hear.

But that does not help me with all the Japanese music I have in my library.

That is why I was looking at the upload services.

Is it no longer a feature of Google Music to add a drive folder to show up in Music. They had something like this, which would make your point of Google dropping features.

It does seem to have its on client, not just Microsoft Desktop.

Given the history of these kinds of things I would think anything significant would come directly from Nvidia. The last startup that was led by a crazy young CEO shut down and sold the IP for $1 to another company he started. Which, I always thought was just a scam.

The service delivers users a virtual computer running a customized version of Windows Server 2016, which has been preloaded with essential apps such as a web browser. The computer also comes preloaded with major game distribution platforms such as Steam, Origin, and the Blizzard App.

      How is that again?

If companies like LiquidSky are successful in enabling low cost linux desktops to play any game ($100 desktop playing the highest of high-end games), then I can see a huge resurgence--relatively speaking. Gaming is one of the reasons people won't move from windows even with a lot of games making Linux ports. Just my opinion though, could be wrong.

$100??? What kind of crap graphics is in that?

Just enough to RDP into the LiquidSky machine

Have you used the service yet? Given the wikipedia page is a BS PR blurb that is marked for deletion I am curious about the actual claims...

I would imagine you could accomplish everything they are doing with RemoteFX and the latest GPU virtualization support.

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LiquidSky

      From the article:

      LiquidSky's key features include:

      • 30ms minimum latency (depends on ISP and user distance from data center)

      • The ability to install any games the user has purchased.

      • State of the art technology to keep up with the latest games.

      • Lightning fast internet speeds, with 10GB per second downloads and 100MB per second uploads.

      • Secure storage solutions, which the company dubs "SkyStorage"

Make sense, but have you "invested" in a cryptocurrency that you have faith will be of some worth down the line. Also what term would you use other that investment?

Heck no, I think it's a crazy market to get into. Sure the potential gains are large, but the risk is enormous and based on nothing.

Yeah at this point, even if there is still growth to $100k to $1mm, its still not going to be as rewarding as it is for those who stumbled in early and stuck around.

Blind luck, no one could have predicted it.

Not looking to buy phone gear before the end of the year, but if I find someone that is I know where to send them.

Thanks, I think I may inventory some of this since no one seems to be ordering the T5 series yet. Really thought those would be the new top seller by now, at least the T56a. But the 48s does have more screen/button space.

I do not see the point of the T5X line. Other than the screen being a separate piece that angles different, there is no additional benefit that most office users will get out of the phones over the T4X line.

I would have to agree. The buttons are fairly useless, you have to drag from right to left to reveal more on the home screen.

The touch screen is better, and you can drag your keys around to change their position. However, they reset during if they are re-provisioned.

Any android apps have to be installed via provisioning which is fairly useless to the end user.

Now, give me Remote Desktop client, second screen support for HDMI and bluetooth keyboard and mouse and you would have a handy thin client - voip phone combo. But none of that came close to working for me either.

I’m surprised that there are still huge computer departments in retail stores and that laptops prices have surged back up.

I think maybe the perception would be different if you walked in and started seeing Linux distros preinstalled on laptops at your local Best Buy.

      Making really good progress, though.

      How many?

Probably about twenty. It's checking everything one by one that makes it take so long. And moving over the DNS entries.

      Hostadillo? Or customer stuff?
