- Putting the down payment on our wedding venue this weekend. http://www.shadowbrook.com/
- Going to IKEA to buy my fiance a nice desk so she can actually use the desktop I built her.
Nice, on the wedding. IKEA is fine, but whatever.
Fiance is cheap. I pick my battles.
-
We used to buy only IKEA or similar. Now we buy nothing at all.
-
@scottalanmiller Until her entire rig floats in mid air we're going to need a desk
-
Hopefully running Call of Cthulhu tomorrow night. Then going to the FLGS to talk about running D&D Adventures League twice a month when the new season comes out. Other then that... diapers and working on the house a bit.
-
@coliver I own it as well. No one wants to dedicate the time to play it though

CoC. I play a Deathwatch campaign on roll20 with some friends but I don't know anyone who would actually play it on a schedule with me.

Probably one of my favorite tabletop RPGs. The new rules, other then the chase mechanics, are excellent with some nice additions that streamline parts of the game that would really drag on. I've never played but I've run it a dozen or more times.

I'm lucky that I got my fiance` to play Netrunner. Glad she enjoys it though

That's good. My wife, who is by no means a gamer, will sit through some board games to humor me... she enjoys listening to us play RPGs but thinks there are too many rules for her to actually play.

My fiance isnt a gamer either but she is incredibly smart (as I'm sure your wife is too). For some reason they don't think they can learn it. I have no idea why.

It's a logistics thing... They have to be invited to play at the right time. My wife has never ever wanted to play WoW, but she had some friends that got us into a game called ArcheAge (it's not a bad game, not really, and it's free to play, but so far doesn't appear to be pay to win).
She loves it, ha ha. (One of her friends strongly coerced her into playing).

Weekend plans... Meeting a friend and his family on Friday at some party, birthday BBQ with friends on Saturday, BBQ at my parents place. Another carnivore weekend, so much for trying to not eat meat. BTW: The party on friday probably includes a BBQ...

Why would you try to not eat meat??? Are you some kind of hippie or something?

Me? A hippie? No, we just had so much meat in the past. And really, BBQ on three days in a row is a bit hard
-
Where is @MattSpeller when you need him? What's wrong with 3 days of BBQ? Does this necessitate an intervention?

Haha... that's basically what our family reunion is. Three days of meat, alcohol, cards, and lawn games.

Causing trouble for ML mods, as usual
What's wrong with 3 days of BBQ?
Nothing as long as you packed the rolaids and a bottle of scotch.
Does this necessitate an intervention?
Yeah, with the address so I can join.

I'm a living example of how awesome one can become by eating meat daily.

Room for any more family members?
