@rojoloco awesome thanks. Yes I'm staying downtown
Neon lights are pretty.
-
@jmoore don't miss out on a trip to the original Trader Vic's. It's in the basement of the Hilton hotel (where they have DragonCon), and while it is a bit touristy, it's still awesome. Skip their "original" Mai Tai (it's all pre-mixed BS now), but do order a special rum drink. Personally, my fave is the Zombie. Food is excellent too.
-
@rojoloco oh that sounds fun thanks for the tip

Pretty normal weekend for me.
Teach a saxophone lesson. Work on colo lab. This weekend's task will be getting nginx reverse proxy going (and learning what I'm doing in addition to following Jared's guide).

If you get a chance to go out without the kids, check out the Clermont lounge and/or Sister Louisa's Church (it's a bar/giant art installation).
-
@rojoloco oh that sounds good too. I'd like to find some kind of puddles the clown attraction too. At some point I'd like to meet up with and any other Atlanta guys for a beer, not toooften offer to meet any of you
-
@jmoore Church has a huge new puddles mural on the outside wall. And I'll be around this weekend if we want to gather up the Atlanta mangoes...
Also, not sure if they are anymore, but Tongo Hiti used to be one of the house bands at trader Vic's. Their lead singer is big Mike geier (puddles).
-
@rojoloco oh that sounds fun, all of it. Let's try to work something out then with schedules. Most family stuff will be during day so nights should be free

Building PBXs....
Wanna build one for me? (personal use)
That's fast an easy as long as you don't want crazy features.

I would love to see your playbook to make this definition of fast.

Step 1. Call Jared and request a PBX build.
You part is now done, and it took about 30 seconds :face_with_stuck-out_tongue:

Looks like we are doing a PBX migration this weekend.
-
I'm figuring out how to apply a dialing standard that is not designed to be handed by FreePBX.
Forcing 800 users to change a nearly 10 year habit will not go over well.
-
Two PBX migrations!

We have IP Office <insert Mr. Yuk sticker here> and I kept getting notices that we were calling 911. Our users were fat-fingering 9 for an outside line. I know, I know. I don't even ask anymore.
I changed it to 8 for an outside line. The backlash was severe. Monumental, actually.
