Sonic and Sega All stars Racing with the kids.

Initial impression is good. Attractive design, fun music. First few zones are fairly easy so you get to figure some things out before it starts trying to murder you too much. I've made it to the 3rd or 4th zone, at that point things are quite a bit meaner.
Pretty light weight as survival games go. Small areas to explore and raid for supplies broken up by running the river. The list of items and recipes is somewhat short. Depending on your priorities could be plus or minus.
7.50 on Steam sale this weekend which got me to pull the trigger.
-
Cool, I'm certainly watching it but even with the sale it is a bit too rich for my blood.
-
World Renowned Explorers seems right up my alley. Looking forward to getting to play it.
-
Earned some DKP on my cleric on EQ Project 1999. Was nice to finally get back to Norrath after nearly a month and a half.

We are back to playing Nancy Drew: Message in the Haunted Mansion

This weekend, I upped the max level on dinos in our Ark server to 350. This is up from 150 on the old instance, and 16 on the new instance. Since I was on the new instance (and why I had noticed it), I logged in afterward to get my ass handed to me by several dinos and lost a Jerboa along with 2 Morellatops.
So, I buckled down and tamed a new m'tops (a 180th) and a new velociraptor (40th). Sadly, I now realize that the new levels mean adjusting the taming multiplier because it taks forever to tame the higher level creatures. C'est l'vie.

The five year old just started Night of the Rabbit, one of the best adventure games ever. It's the eight year olds third time playing it.
-
The five year old did not like it, the eight year old thinks it is the best thing ever. Can't win.
Moved on to The Book of Unwritten Tales

Did 12 races on Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing. I won 11, Liesl won 1, Luciana 0 but she came it 3rd in nearly every one.

I'm guessing there were only 3 players?

There normally are only three, Dominica can't play racing games, they make her sick.

Looking forward to the Ghost Recon: Wildlands Open Beta that starts tomorrow - and finally moving over to Intel tomorrow - Getting a 6700K processor and an ASUS Maximus Hero VIII motherboard and 16GB Hyper X DDR4 RAM! Should be a bit of an improvement to my Phenom II X6 and 12GB RAM!

You'll see a huge performance boost, but why are you buying such a mainboard? Lots of features you'll never use, see or feel but pay for. A $120 Z170/Z270 Asrock / Gigabyte / MSI or even Asus board would serve you as well if not better.
Better put the money in a M.2 SSD.

Getting it as a bundle through a friend who gets a discount - The CPU is £340 and I'm getting the bundle for £480, so £140 for the Mobo in effect!
M.2 is next on the list!!
