Awww.... Yeah well right now they are $199 and will be going up as time progresses so get one now!

That's a fair wack of cash just for entry (Exchange rates are killer).

The Australian dollar is stronger than the US dollar, though, right?

That is still very inexpensive compared to a lot of other technical conferences.

To get there, I think FedEx or DHL is the cheapest

Agreed though they should at least have it available for 5-7 days after the event.

In years past the code had worked until the day after. One year (2013 I think) there was such talk about it that they extended it two days.

            BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! No.
Well, not anymore. We were at parity for a while but now we are at $1 AUD = 0.70 USD. 😞
Good if you want to buy our cattle, sheep, iron ore or wheat but not if I want to go to an international Tech conference.

Related: This year was much better for the trip to Japan than the prior two for the same reason.

Oh the tides have turned I see. I hope that stays as we are heading to your part of the world in just over a year.

We have emailed in to people who knew that we were there and bought in bulk the day after before.

Not secret. Have to be in Hawaii in March for a family event so already a long way via the flight path. Kids are begging for a holiday in China so we plan on doing that. The plan is to move to New Zealand directly from the holiday in China. From NZ we will be using a lot of our free time to visit Australia as this is the only time that we know that we will be living in that part of the world. So like late April of 2017 through the end of the year in that part of the world. If we really find that we like Australia we could conceivably spend a few months there while in the "area".

It's one of the more exciting items on our known, upcoming itinerary. Really looking forward to scouting out NZ and also looking forward to the first time that we plan on requesting a visa extension so that we can spend a really long time in one place.

Sadly that's not the case. I'm kinda a sycophant when it comes to buying the merchandise that my Star Wars club makes. I have around 100 club members only Tshirts, and tons of other things.
