Does anyone have NRG solar on their home or business? If so can you explain where the "rub" is because it seems way to good to be true.
The "rub" being, how is NRG earning a profit off of the consumer.

I can't be for certain how they are doing so, but - They could still own the equipment, therefore the net metering that is down with your power company goes to them rather than you.
Yes - you would see a decrease in your monthly electric (hydro for them Canadians), but you only get so much.

Don't know the details as I've not seen it. But my guess is that the power goes to them when you are not using it.
