Back when Veeam released the last update for version 8, they added a nice feature that I missed at the time.

For many SMB, this is a killer add on. They do not NEED more than Veeam ZIP backups of their stuff. Yeah, it is nice to have the full product, you get a lot of nice features, but for so many SMB, this is all they really need.

Moreover, I've created previously a script example to demonstrate how VMs can be backed up with the use of now available commands. Might be worth taking a look.
