Already hearing about this? This is good, wish more people would know at least the basics on how the power grid functions.

I was reading the piece you posted the other day - interesting problem.. and corruption in the government is preventing them from saving money.

Only that shutdown the the natural gas plants costs more money to bring back online versus the solar, so in the long wrong it's better to shut off the solar.
But it did say they are still building more natural gas and other non solar/wing plants.

While I highly expect corruption is there somewhere, nothing in that article leads one to say corruption.
Slow changing government? Bad price structures that have not updated? Sure.

Only way Cisco stays in business, IMHO. Like Hershey's, they had to get the law to block sale of Cadbury's because no one would buy Hershey's if there was another option realistically.
