My latest obsession has been "Bones". Great show and the story is really great! The actors/actresses are all very dynamic and engaging. A friend of mine turned me on to the show.

I've been re-watching Twin Peaks lately. And I thoroughly enjoyed binge watching the Netflix original show Lillyhammer, where Steven Van Zandt goes NY mobster on rural Norway. Good times.
-
My favourite shows are things like Coupling, As Time Goes By, Monarch of the Glen, Father Ted, Red Dwarf, Dr. Who, That Seventies Show, How I Met Your Mother, Are You Being Served?, Grace and Favour, Keeping Up Appearances, etc.

I'm a huge fan of the new Netflix shows. The remake of House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Netflix is really doing a great job finding great shows. Even Peaky Blinders isn't all that bad. I also like shows in the vein of Burn Notice or more serious spy thrillers. Although those are few and far between lately.
-
Netflix does appear to be doing an excellent job.

Just about to finish Being Human.

What do you intend to be after this?
lol. That's good. If I would have to choose, I guess a Vampire would be next on my checklist, then maybe a ghost. I'm not a fan of werewolves.

They have like a 128Kb/s connection. She can barely download text. Torrenting won't get her anything.

And that's illegal for copyrighted content. It makes those that pay, pay more due to loss of sales. Volume of sales decreases the price.

No, it's the opposite. Pirating reduces demand for paid content and lower demand lowers prices and reduces profits for the content providers. Look how the cost of CDs has plummeted since Napster was invented. Pirating largely influences the profits going into fat executives, not the price you and I pay. Think of BitTorrent as a competitor to Amazon and Napster - competition lowers prices, it doesn't increase them.
In economics terms, it's simple supply and demand.
