What Is Your CloudatCost Project?

I've been trying really hard to keep some things up-to-date on my project. This is a tabletop gaming blog I started not too long ago, it is hosted on a Dev 1 machine so it may be a bit sluggish.
I've got two blog post in the pipe right now. Going to be working on more.

Look at Openfire for a decent Jabber/XMPP server http://www.igniterealtime.org/projects/openfire/. I've played with it in the past and liked the functionality. It's easier than getting my landlord to grant me access to his FiOS router so I can forward 32400 to my router and thus to my plex server...

Actually, it does make sense to get your own Internet connection. I don't think everyone here remembers your living arrangements. I know I don't.
So, to us, it makes no sense that you haven't got your own Internet connection, considering what you are wanting to do with it.

It's a single resident house. The only option would be to do Time Warner, considering he already has FiOS, and that ain't happening...

Why don't you think the owner will let you have access to the FIOS? If it's only for your rental house.. what harm is there?

Using a Dev3 instance to build out a Staging system for MangoLassi! ML has gotten so busy, taking thousands of hits an hour, that we really need a staging server for testing changes. We have no slow time anymore and any downtime is thousands of 404s. So we need a more consistent, reliable process. This will let us look into making interface changes and other things that would be disruptive to test. I know... staging is a long time coming but we just haven't been that busy. Now we are really in the big time and need the ability to really test and customize.

re-imaging the seafile CentOS box I just went through the trouble of making. Going to replace it with OwnCloud. Seafile is no where near on par with owncloud.

Already close to breaking the February traffic numbers and it is only the 12th! We are seeing hour long averages with around two and a half to three views of the site per second!!

Just bought three additional Dev2 instances. Building out a lab database cluster. Going to have clustered Redis and MongoDB on it. Want to test real sharding and failover.
