@DustinB3403 yeah, that can't be safe.

@scottalanmiller said in Random Thread - Anything Goes: @DustinB3403 yeah, that can't be safe. Why would you assume it is unsafe? The only reasonable assumption is that she is simply standing on a ladder in the hallway.
Contrary to Hollywood induced belief (looking at you Breakfast club ceiling scene) drop tile ceiling do not support any weight except themselves.

-
@JaredBusch I didn't notice that that was a wall where she was.
-
It still doesn't seem safe that a teacher of a school would be able to get to the ceiling. Even if she is using a ladder. Also who has ever tried to remove a ceiling tile from above the ceiling. I have and it's freaking impossible without damaging the tile. You're always pushing the tile up to get it out of the way.

And I when I say unsafe. I mean it as why in the hell is she up there at all. She could easily fall, likely has no fall gear, clearly doesn't have a helmet (which meh but still) and lastly if this is a school wtf. Be in the class and teach the students.

You still sound like schools are for actually learning things, I admire your optimism.

For climbing a step ladder ? WTAF??

Not full fall gear. In general industry (what most of us work in except maybe @NerdyDad) fall protection is required starting at 4ft. In most instances a ladder is considered fall protection. Guess who just went through a fall training course because I may have to go up on a lift "someday".
