Replica of the ship means of the ship itself, not from a set of blueprints.
They've got pretty good info on the final build.

They've got pretty good info on the final build.
I thought the original blueprints sent to the builders would have ended up with a better founded ship than what they actually ended up with, which is what I'd want if making a replica. Of course then it wouldn't be as it actually sailed, but didn't we prove that was a bad idea already?

The ship was actually really well built. No ship of that era and very few of this one can intentionally ram an iceberg and win.
