It never cases to amaze me how exercise proves a better mitigating force against depression for me than medicine.

If I've gained only one thing from the ML community, it's more confidence to simply ask the question, no matter how much of a n00b I am in a particular area. If there are black eyes to be had (especially if I have simply failed to Google properly), once they've healed some kind of learning will take place, which will help lower the amount of n00bishness within me.

Just remember, there are no stupid questions.Scratch that. Yes, there are...but folks on ML aren't likely to be too harsh with you if you really don't know and are asking so you can learn... Maybe. -

I try to take the high road every now and again.

I've opened my mouth here enough that everybody assumes I'm an idiot except when I occasionally make a half decent point.

Co-worker: I don't know how you are so calm when everything is broken around you.
I played it cool, but lollllllll.

It's easy to play it cool... not your circus, not your monkeys. Who cares if it is broken. If they want you to fix it, great. If not, not your problem. Whatever.

What gets me the most is the really dumb ones, such as what Scott pointed out the other day when they get to some kind of weird mental block that doesn't make sense, such as "Can I through water in the air and make it stay there?" sort of things. What else gets me is the same questions being asked over and over again, such as "What is the best antivirus out there?" I don't know. Try them all. Whichever works best for you is the one you should use.
