Thanksgiving Day Plans

Anyone got big holiday plans here in the US?

Not really chilling with the family... if it keeps snowing I may get the snowmobile out for a little bit just to check on the trails.

Spending the holiday with @SonshineAcres and @rich9403 upstate New York. @Dominica and I drove up last night. Have today mostly off, tomorrow we have sixteen people coming over to Thanksgiving. In the afternoon we will celebrate my oldest daughter's sixth birthday. Hanging out here on Friday.
Then Saturday, Sunday and Monday visiting with @Dominica's family near Utica. They have a new puppy which we can't wait to go see.

Did you go 88? I'm ~15 minutes off the highway. Last night would have been an awesome night for a drive... I didn't really see anyone on the roads, which is abnormal for this time of year where we live.

no, we don't go up that far north. We only got as close as 17.

@scottalanmiller Ah got it.... I really like the Rochester drive. Especially if you take 86/17 up to 390. Very relaxing.

yup, that's the way that we go. We get off early and drive through Mt. Morris as we are out in the country.

Making a nice dinner here for just @art_of_shred and @Mike-Ralston. Should be a nice relaxing day.

- Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Oatmeal Raisin Cookies (maybe)
Lunch tomorrow
Drive Friday (8 Hours)
Wedding Saturday
Drive Sunday (8 hours)Come back to work on Monday to rest.

Just ran out and did some shopping for Finger Lakes wines. Found that Commodore Liquors in Perry, NY has an awesome selection.

I have a tradition of watching videos of the idiots bum rushing Walmart, I expect a bumper crop this year.

I am fed up with my family.
I am taking my wife and kids out to dinner with some friends of ours that have no local family and then going to watch Big Hero 6 with the kids while the ladies brave the shopping mall.

We have our "old gang's" 20th reunion tonight at 10PM. Every Thanksgiving night all of us gather at the most dive greasy spoon in the region (people drive hours for this) to get super unhealthy food at the place where the local hookers eat.

It was a great time. Thirteen people made it out. We were there from 10PM (when they open) till after midnight. Boy I've missed that place.
