Any reason why there should be two .PST files for a IMAP configuration?

Can you give us more details?

Though just a shot in the dark - the second one is for archiving.

Adding just my Support email address into Outlook 2010 since my ticket system is broken (sorta). In setting it up manually so that I can set it as IMAP. Looking at the Data files tab:

@g.jacobse this is normal behavior with pop and IMAP accounts unless you tell them to deliver to the other inbox in the account settings.

Exactly - IMAP is it's own account - not normal for two different email addresses (unless aliased) to deliver into a single box.

Hm - Very well. (sigh) guess it's no wonder why I'm confused since the previous tech has two accounts and I have two accounts, and trying to merge them..

What a mess... Can't wait to finish the implementation of O365.

Why are you using IMAP to connect to O365?

I'm not - to the existing hosted system - Going to force that hold outs this weekend. Been trying to push this (and fix everthing that keeps breaking) for 4 months now... Not set up in O365? I'm breaking your ability to access the old.. <evil IT Grin>

Why are they still connecting to the old at all? Wasn't all of their data imported to O365?, isn't all the new email flowing through O365?
