Well, as Classic Rock is defined by anything twenty years and older, can I get away with saying Sad But True from Metallica?
No, that is not classic rock. I beg to differ with your definition. Also, Metallica is METAL.
Classic rock is all pre-90s. I think, by definition, it has to be 60s, 70s, or 80s or be "classic rock". Just saying.
Is it really? Musical genres are really hard to pick out, because most people put music in incorrect genres, but they all make different mistakes. I agree, Metallica is most certainly Metal, and it's Nu-Wave Metal to be exact, but I've heard it quite often listed as Classic Rock. If we have to go for Classic Rock favorites... Pretty much anything Van Halen did, with the exception of a few Sammy Hagar tunes.

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. The band I just joined said go ahead and change the set list, but since classic rock isn't my thing normally I needed some fresh ideas!
