Quality difference Dell Optiplex micro versus HP Prodesk/Elitedesk mini?
-
Is there any difference in quality between Dell's versus HP's small micro computers?
Any difference in the Windows installations on these?

I have both here and to me there isn't any difference. Both have been reliable and easy to work with. I have win10 on both sets. I currently have about 20 of each in labs.

Awesome, exactly the input I was looking for! So we can basically pick either one and be happy.

@Pete-S I would think so and would do the same myself.

I run with both as well. The HPs tend to be cheaper than the Dells which is a plus. I have the Ryzen5 models for the HP elite desks and my only complaint with those are the fans kick on frequently and are a little noisy. The Dells you never hear the fan on.

I haven't seen any difference between the Prodesk and Elitedesk from a workability POV. But the Elitedesk do come with US support and generally don't have to dick around much with L1 support when calling in. I also think they come with a 3 yr warranty by default... when you add that to the Prodesk, they costs come close to the same, so if you're considering 3 year warranty - I'd go Elitedesk.
