Homebrew for Mac

Is essentially chocolatey for OSX, is anyone using it? Since Apple seems more and more keen on taking tools away (netboot no longer works with anything that comes with a T2 chip)
I'm working on setting up a bunch of laptops now and this tool is actually pretty sweet and reminds me of Chocolatey a lot! To the point where I might not mind managing a fleet of ANNOYING.
I'm still sorting out all of the details and would eventually like to write a setup script so I don't have to piece-meal the install. But that's to come.

Been using that for a while now.

Yup, we use it on what few Macs we deal with.

Check out FleetSmith, too, for Macs.

FleetSmith pricing.

@scottalanmiller I talked to them at SpiceWorld. For some reason, my brain thinks there is a blocking issue for me to switch to this form the legacy free Meraki thing I have.

Anything I've ever seen for Mac is using Homebrew to install.

Is anyone else having consistent issues using brew cask to get filezilla to install?

Yep. And the link works fine from the browser.

@black3dynamite so long as it's not just me.

I wonder if FileZilla falls under this?
Casks withauto_updates
orversion :latest
will not be upgraded -
@black3dynamite I was digging into it and it appears to be an issue with the host more than brew.
