I like a password manager, but wish they were not random character strings. Randoms words like CHBS is much better when I occasionally have to type one in.
Yet it is still long and still includes a space or other special character .

Passwords don't need a mix of uppercase and lowercase, numbers or special characters - and they don't need to be changed often. That's outdated recommendations.
Passwords just needs to be long. Search for NIST password guidelines for more info.

Not outdated, just wrong. They were never true. And it's always been taught in security circles that that stuff was obviously wrong. It's only that the people pushing agendas publicly have finally made the switch, like the NIST. But outdated is the wrong way to look at it, nothing changed except that finally the "Hollywood" public is starting to accept what IT has known all along.
