While most of my clients use Veeam (paid), I do not have the paid version in use in my colo setup. I only have a few things that I manually run backups for there but I find this annoying to remove after all of these years.

Is the free version of Veeam also going to go away soon? They are pushing the trial in the console of the free version, but that is exepected IMO.

Based on the looks of it looks like Veeam free is going away, that or you download a version and are stuck there unless you rip and replace for each version.

That sucks. I hope the free version is not going away. I use that for my labs.

Interesting, I had the fear of it going away due to how good it works.

Nothing is stating that the free solution is going away only that you will not be able to download future updates for it so you would probably have to rip and reinstall to update

                    Gotcha, makes much more sense.

It’s simply has me worried that the free version might go away
