Checking warranty with Asus on my RoG laptop.

Others seem to have reported Creators Update causing this issue with this wireless NIC. . . yay. . .

Seems like a Windows issue rather than an Asus one then. What’s your MS warranty?

              Just confirming. . .

In the below screencap this is showing what the AP is getting for performance, correct?

Rather than what has been download / uploaded.

Creating a Live USB to just validate my assumption of Windows screwing me without buying me dinner first. .

                  Fedora Live

                  8 Down 50 Up. . .

So hardware issue is the only thing it can be. . .

I would also try Ubuntu Live too.

@black3dynamite Yeah, but I'm not sure how good the phone really is.

Google Pixel 2, mixed results but about the same.

Wow, definitely something going on your computer, I assume this was on the wireless and not with 4G.

If I test on ookla i get decent speeds, but it definitely doesn't seem like I'm getting the speed I would expect. .

What WPA2 security mode are you using? Make sure it is AES not TKIP.

Also a known-good USB wireless adapter is handy to keep around for times like this.
