See, the thing with AR, is that you'll be learning to get used to seeing things that aren't really there... that can't be good!

I'm ok with it. AR had the potential to make life so much easier/better... not having to remember people's names is going to be the best use of this technology for me.

Here here - they ever get this into contact lenses or an implant that just uses the optic nerve .. definitely cool thinking.. if not freaky as hell because of horrible we humans are at making secure technology.

That's the whole reason for this post.

You have watched Black Mirror, right? The true potential horror lies not in the security but in the fact the technology is being used by humans.

I've seen one or two episodes - the like status one was just horrible. Then The Orville did a parody of it, damn.. it is a scary thought!

I have yet to see a truly bad Black Mirror episode. They are delightfully dystopian.

I meant a horrible life - not a horrible episode. I wouldn't want to live in that world - mainly because I'm an asshole a few steps below JB level, but an asshole just the same.

The episode "Hated in the Nation" was most terrifying.
I wear earmuffs all the time now.

One of my favorites. San Junipero was, from my recollection, the only utopian future and it was by far the best episode.
