Yealink phone answer when headset button pressed
-
I installed a Sennheiser SD Pro 1 a few weeks ago, now that the number is ported out of the old phone system, the user is using their new Yealink T46s with this headset.
The headset is installed with the Yealink headset adapter.
I could have sworn I tested answering an incoming call via the headset button when I installed it, but now it's not working.
The user has to press the button on the headset and the line button on the phone to answer the call.Anyone know a feature code to enable answering via the headset? I'm not looking for auto answer.

The user told me that her children have sat at her desk pressing random buttons, so it's completely possible they managed to disable this, assume it worked in the first place.

The feature code is going to be dependent on your phone system. What system are you using?

This also means we have to assume you tested it and proved it functional.
Do any other phones work as expected that you have?

FreePBX 14.01.20
Asterisks 13.17.2 -
Is the phone in headset mode?
Is the Headset light enabled on the phone?

To check to see what the feature code may be.
Login to your FreePBX system, click on Admin, and then click on Feature Codes.

Actually @JaredBusch just got back to me and it looks like it might be a dipswitch setting.
I'll report soon.

The first switch needs flipped. By default they are all off.

/sigh...
That was it. The instructions don't say anything to remind a person to look at the dipswitches....

It is in the manual.
