Send to mail recipient errors in Windows 10 1709

In excel, click share, send as attachment. Get error. Multiple versions of office.
Has anyone else experienced this?

It is not just a problem with Excel, but easy to duplicate there.
Repairing Office resolves the issue, but FFS that would be painful in a larger network.

I had an Spicehead that had this issue before and recreating the user profile worked. On my devices it hasn't happened so no I got at test it.

I usually get a ticket about attaching invoices in QuickBooks. To troubleshoot, I drop back to Word and try to "send as Attachment". If that fails with the same error, I know that the Office install has become corrupt and a reinstall of Office fixes it. I'm not sure what causes it. I have one network where I have three identical machines running the same version of Office, etc, same WSUS server and it doesn't happen to all at the same time, so I have ruled out a bad update from Microsoft.

We have had multiple versions of Office affected by this on multiple computers.
