I'm going to try it out for a week and if I continue to like it I'll probably throw them some money.

It's pretty cheap.
Edit: You have to buy the premium membership and/or a organization. Within a Organization you can have free and premium members.

It's compatible with Firefox 57 unlike LastPass.

Yeah, I'm annoyed that LP hasn't been updated for Firefox yet.

I'm going to use the Self-hosted option for a little bit longer. It doesn't seem to have an Import feature for KeePass, but I can live with that since It's not like I have 10,000 things to import, lol.

Their hosted version can import XML. I'm switching to that since for $12 bucks a year, yeah, I'll test it for a year.
I just imported all my KeePass stuff already.

It's too bad there is no 2FA available in any of the price points. I won't use a password manager, self-hosted or otherwise without 2FA. Looks like they'll be introducing this with their Enterprise version which is more expensive than LastPass. Probably just a matter of time before LastPass goes the way of LogMeIn and jacks up prices to some ridiculous amount. This tool may make more sense at that time.

You can use Google Authenticator in the free tier.

Authy is pretty good too. It can also backup your authenticator accounts.

I don't see it that way - Instead I see it as them raising their price to match what is clearly an allowable amount that the competition is charging. Isn't Dashlane like 2x more than LastPass, even now?
OK it's not 2x, but Dashlane is 40% more as of now.
If Dashlane can sell for $40/yr, why can't Lastpass?
I see most things do that. Samsung made their phones cost nearly the same as Apple's, Google is now following suit with the Pixel line.

It would have to take a lot of great new features to get me to leave Keepass. I have used it for 10+ years and sync my encrypted db with dropbox.

Hence the KEEP in their name, they KEEP you, lol.
-
@scottalanmiller LOL - A coincidence? But if it didn't work for me I wouldn't keep them.

KeePass is a horrible solution for someone on many devices all the time.
It is also a horrible solution for home users as they have no idea WTF they are doing.
Home users need LastPass for free.
Power users need LastPass for $24/year or Dashlane if they like to spend extra.

I think that's where this comes in. Slightly lower price than LastPass.
