That said, I can also understand that considering the age of the current actors, it might not have been desirable to make an existing story at the correct timeline.
See, I don't care about the original actors. They should have told the Thrawn story with new actors and let the originals make cameos or something.
Yeah, that would have been great. As it is they went well into the uncanny valley for Rogue One. They don't really have the original actors in so many cases already that trying to use them is just silly and unpredictable.
I'd rather have a non Mark Hamil Luke Skywalker, etc. in a new story than what they did with Ep7.
And no JJ "I destroy movies" Abrams.

My kids watched all of the original Magic School Bus episodes and loved them. Never watched this one yet. I will show it to them.
