Login Flower

I just had a user ask me if the picture used to login on Win7 could be changed, so I showed her, and then she asked why it didn't use the same picture from AD. I found that to be a very good question. Has anyone gotten the login ID picture to be synced up to AD?

I have wondered that as well, but never looked into it.

You can do this through group policy.

Sweet. I'll play with this Soon(tm)!

Why isn't that the default? You would expect that to just happen with AD.

It really should be, to be honest. Maybe you can write up a quick powershell for everyone to copy that adds the appropriate GPO, or the quick n' dirty how to?

I'm not sure personally I really want my picture in my profile. As you can see here, I have Stitch as my profile picture, not my face.
I even managed to get my Stitch picture into my AD profile, but it doesn't show up in Outlook, so I don't even recall how I did it now - it might be local only to this computer I did it ages ago.

it's 4 times larger KB than allowed for images, not to mention the dimensions.
