We've already determined Spiceworld is out of the question, mean mostly for SMBs and is more marketing than anything to offer us more enterprise knowledge.
I always assumed it was more for the networking aspect then the actually technical information.

OH yeah, SpiceWorld is not technical at all. It's the least technical conference that I have every been to. Even the vendors dumb everything down and only focus on swag, not on training or user education. It's a great conference, but skip all the content, there is little to no value there. It's a place for networking with other IT pros, the vendors, etc.
It's well worth it, but you really have to know how to leverage it to make it work.

Oh yes and that is more how everyone I know uses it. It is great to meet and commiserate with Fellow IT Pro's. And to meet Vendors that could help you out from time to time.

This ^ this right here is why I'd be willing to be Danielle's minion for a weekend at Spiceworld - the introductions, and education would far outweigh anything else going on there.

I'm planning on attending SW this year. Hope I find myself around the NTG folks more often than not.

Loading up systems into ELK. This is awesome, working smoothly so far. But have not attempted to address getting Windows systems to feed into it yet. That will be another challenge.
