at least here It's Stable.
The abuse is stable, got it.
he's making 30-35K at his current job, no way he's getting that as a gas station attendant, unless he's slinging dope on the side.
That's exactly what you get, plus benefits, at gas stations here. And that's for entry level, no experience, daytime cashiers. Do overnight or be a manager and it goes up.
$30K is just about the lowest you can make at a gas station around here. And we are cheaper living here than where he is.
Not here, 11/hr, benefits and bonuses. You dont make even remotely close to that.
I worked at a gas station for 2.5 years and made 22k a year here, even at 11 /hr.Exactly - BK and McD's both also pay $11/hr and you get benefits only if full time.

Just Secured an Interview for a Job I'm not sure I actually want but willing to hear them out. We'll See.
At this point, take ANYTHING.
lol - well, it might not be IT, assuming that's where he wants to continue forward....
No, It's in the field but it's not IT work. It's an IT company that does 5 different things and the position is Sales, Uncapped.
Weirdly enough Im only hearing him out because I need the interviewing experience.Good way to look at it. Yeah, skip that. Gas station attendant would literally be better.
already did gas station attendant.
Going back to it from where you are now (in terms of work place stability) would probably be better.
absolutely not.
Well I guess you get to deal with the abuse monster that is your supervisor/not-supervisor weirdness for a while longer.
Going back would mean Overnights, or Clerk Position and wouldn't be able to pay bills at all, and would mean dealing with yet another Horrible Store manager / Monster Supervisor who just want to take advantage.
at least here It's Stable. How can this be? In lower cost markets gas station work pays better than what I think you are getting now.
Overnight managers make 32k a year plus benefits, but have to work 9pm-8am. Clerks make 11/hr and have limited hours.

well 2080 hr * $11/hr = $22,880, so yeah, I would expect you to only be making ~$22K/yr

Everyone is forgetting as a gas station clerk the drugs would be selling themselves for that extra 25-80K a year. . .

not to mention Part Time clerks can work a max of 40 a week, anything over that and they find someone to cover for you.
hours would be 6a-2p 7a-3p 8a-4p or 2p-11p 3p-10p and sporadic scheduling -

Illegal, charge the business for your time. If they don't pay you, sue them (literally any lawyer would take the case)

No one said they weren't paying.
The position Name is "part time clerk" who can work a max 40 hrs a week = Part time Clerk who works full time. -

Security = 123k/ yr
Security as like Security Guards or Technical security?

The position Name is "part time clerk" who can work a max 40 hrs a week = Part time Clerk who works full time.40 hours a week is a standard "full time position" their made up title has nothing to do with the fact that you'd be working full time.

Security Guards in Certain areas, like Texas, IA , Georgia, Arizona, . Not offered in my district at the time, and only offered to retired police officers, Military in those areas.

That's odd that a security guard would be paid so much more than the district manager.

They're protecting the money, so the incentive has to be higher.
