I was just to hang up from talking to an end user and I pressed the delete button (to delete the current voicemail)... while speaking to them... oh dear.
Why are you trying to delete end users?
Because I am a cyberman.
Ā
lol, not really, I had a voicemail from them that I listened to & then deleted 5 minutes before. -
Sitting in the HP lounge again with coffee trying to wake up.

Dealt with what must be the most helpful CenturyLink tech I've ever worked with. @Katie, can you message me information on someone I can reach out to for the call center for the overnight shift in LA for a manager so that I can pass along my regards? Thanks!

Been taking notes for another thread. I may have gone a little overboard.

Sorry, couldn't resist adding to your confusion.

Sitting in my London office before heading off to the train station.

Checking on a Firmware upgrade,..
Setup the HF antenna last night, so listening to a bit of static, noise and some conversations -
reading and doing some research online.Weather has been nice - which is very welcomed since they can't replace the heat pump until Tuesday now. I don't qualify for vacation yet (unlikely I'd take one anyway) but the system is my vacation.. ouch. for the next 3 years!

This been longer run of lack of sleep then the back and forth you did three - four months ago? Between NY and Dallas via Ohio?
Maybe the flight will be nice enough to get a few,.. Don't you have a train ride also?
-
Yes, have to walk to the Liverpool Street Station, then catch the Stansted Express out to the airport.

I drove from Dallas to NY straight through with no sleep. Ended up being up a straight 64 hours, which is still my record. I hope to beat that someday...

I've driven to Austin from NY straight, NY to Austin, Denver to NY, etc. and none of them took 64 hours. Not sure where you're getting directions from.

I think he meant he was awake for 64 hours, not that the trip took that long.

Yes, the trip was, with stops, about 32 hours. I spent about 4-5 hours hanging with @krisleslie in Birmingham in that time, so the actual drive was only 27-28 hours. I also went the scenic route from Texas east to Alabama and then north through Atlanta and SC until I got to 81, which I took all the way to NY.

It wasn't the most efficient route, but I love driving 81. I wanted to drive 481 once I got to Syracuse. It was just a coming-home experience.
