Netgear GS724Tv4 (£106 ish)So HP is the one that I'd skip here. Not that it is bad, but I at least prefer the other two.
Ubiquiti is not just web managed, but can be connected to UNMS. That's a huge deal. And it is free.
Netgear has a line that can do the same thing, but you pay a small fee to do it.
In both cases, this is probably something that you really want and will be sorry if you don't get it.

I would never buy something today that does not report back to a controller.

@DustinB3403 actually Netgear makes some seriously good stuff. Its our main go to for switching. A big networking lab in NYC has to use it because it outperforms nearly everything.
On the other side, I have had nothing but issues with Netgear switches over the years.

FTS and OCR are totally different things. One is searching text, one is optical recognition of hand written or photographic text being turned into text.

I have no need for OCR. We are paperless, have been for a LONG time. We don't need to scan photographs for text.

To get the FTS, you need to install ElasticSearch and the associated NC plugins... I haven't installed OCR on mine.

Yeah I've had nothing but good things with Netgear and is my "normal" go to switch. I've used a few HP and they work
@JaredBusch @scottalanmiller with regards to "talking to a controller". I do have a UNMS server running with 2 EdgeSwitches running, one under my desk and one in a store. Apart from setting them up I've not signed in to do anything. So I'm thinking a basic switch that I can ping to make sure it's still running with zabbix will do
but I am tempted to just use the EdgeSwitches lites for the stores. -

Speaking of... Port 2 is one of my UAP-AC-LITE.
Port 3 is the uplink to my office switch.
All this traffic is coming from a single WyzeCam with the DaFang firmware talking to ZoneMinder.

Been running rock solid for more than a week.
The video is not being recorded by ZoneMinder, but the camera doens't know that.

Back on topic... @hobbit666 UNMS gives you this also.
Yeah, you can get outages from Zabbix or whatever else you use.
But you also get backups.
