That's not actually true. With a lot of marketing, departments are given budgets and have no means to track success. So in many cases, marketing attempts are done without feedback and can actually do negative impact to sales, but no one knows how it happened.
Yeah I read something (maybe here) about how the more ads someone sees the less likely they are to engage with a brand or product. Wish I had the link.
Speaking for myself as a consumer, commercials and such convince me who not to use for X product more often than they convince me who to use.
Same for me. Especially when they are spam-ish in nature.
What I read, or saw, was basically saying that any display ads at all are counter-intuitive to their purpose. I think it was actually the radio.
However, I am sure there is more to it than that.
Content marketing is big, and apparently effective. But if you dont have a break-away product that is new or different I cant see it being very effective.

The key is that it is apparently effective. As it is nearly impossible to measure internally, it's very hard to guess externally. I've been told by internal marketing managers that a lot of marketing people throw money specifically at campaign types that can't be measured so that metrics can't be produced to show that what they are doing isn't working.

FreePBX 15 is not out yet. There is not even a public beta out yet.
Do you mean Asterisk 15?
That said, FreePBX 15 was supposed to get so kind of alpha or beta in October, but i have not heard about it actually happening.

Yep, it was Asterisk 15 I spotted, not FreePBX.

Yep, it was Asterisk 15 I spotted, not FreePBX.
I think that’s been in there for a while.
