If it had an SSD, it would be fine, I'm sure.
Agreed. I have my old 120GB SSD Kingston, which is lower-end, but it would FLY compared to now. I would gladly leave the original drive formatted as is and just clone it over to the SSD. I'd only have to reactive Windows. I have local admin privileges, so it's doable.

The machine is also out of warranty. The 3-year service contracted ended March 2014.

Just got The Vanishing of Ethan Carter from GOG.
-
I'm really impressed at the growth we've seen in the last two weeks here at ML
It's great to see but a little sad - I used to have time to keep up with all the cool threads but with so much good content I have to let most go by
-
@MattSpeller No kidding, the traffic has gotten much higher from a posting perspective. It takes real effort to watch everything now.

Thank you all for helping our "little" community not be so little anymore ! -
Just bought Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura on GOG. I'm out of control.

You're a game addict. These sales are designed just for you.

And now Seven Cities of Gold: Commemorative Edition. I really am an addict.
I used to play the original 1980s version of Seven Cities of Gold on the Commodore Amiga. It was awesome. I loved exploring and finding new places. So much fun.
-
I really need to get Steam on my Surface Pro3. That would be a good test of what it can do
-
Finally eating lunch. A salad while watching Pluralsight.
