Ended up having a new coworker, she started yesterday like I did on the same team, give me a walking tour of the San Francisco Mission District. Did about a seven mile walk around the city. We got authentic Mexican food in the heart of the Mission (remember California is part of old Mexico so this is Mexican food "in Mexico" in a way) and then we walked around and found the local famous ice cream place and got that. Amazing ice cream.
Altogether, 9.75 miles around the city throughout the day!

Just finished running my D&D game (every other Tuesday). No time to beat on some smurfs.

Trying to get tons done today so I can work a half day tomorrow and take all day Friday off. Going away for my anniversary for the first time ever and we have been married for 21 years next week.

No we are just going to a nice hotel locally. We actually have gigs this weekend so got a hotel with a pool and just getting away and leaving most all electronics at home and avoiding everyone
yeah that will last about 5 minutes. -

Don't they have to get permission to use your image? Or is that something you sign away when you agree to their TOS?

Spiceworks has a blanket approval for the use of my quotes - if I speak or write publicly the use of the quote is permitted. Not sure if anyone asked about my likeness per se but that's not a big deal. It's my brand on everything, as long as it isn't misleading there really isn't a need to get permission. If it was a bubble with words I didn't say, obviously, that would be a problem.
I might have given explicit permission for my image, I do quite often and I have spoken to both Spiceworks and Scale a bit. So there is every possibility that they have explicit rights to use it.
