Have you ever been sitting next to an ignorant arsehole who is trying to justify his own bigotry and racism by spewing out ignorant, racist, ridiculous, bigoted words, so much so that you wanted to choke the life out of their worthless body? That's what I did for lunch today. I even resisted physical violence... I even resisted the urge to tell him what a pile of shit he was. But if I knew what he was driving, he might have 4 flat tires when he finished lunch.

Just bought a pack of high power infrared diodes (Osram SFH 4556P) and hacked a few webcams (removed the IR filter and added a filter for visible light made from an old 3.5" floppy disk).
Great and cheap head-tracking setup.

Get the ones I mentioned before. They are flat out the best you can get (SFH 4556P, P is the wide angle version)

I got to have the immense joy of replacing a rotten and moldy section of roof yesterday. That was fun. I love doing physical labor in short spurts. What we expected to be a simple job turned out to be far from it -- as is the case with most things.
